Through brand immersion, strategic rollout, and continuous stewardship, Philadelphia’s Host City identity became meaningful and locally resonant. This work laid the foundation for a cohesive and flexible visual system used across multiple years and touchpoints.
FIFA provided the overarching brand system for 16 Host Cities, designed to showcase each city’s unique culture under one umbrella. Philadelphia’s identity was developed within this framework to reflect its distinct character while maintaining alignment with FIFA’s evolving guidelines.
The Philadelphia Host City brand launched with clarity and confidence, building consistency and momentum that still guides how the city shows up on the world stage.

Three distinct visual expressions were developed to support Philadelphia’s years-spanning brand expansion – translating and applying FIFA’s evolving brand system for Philadelphia.
Structure and clarity were brought to complex FIFA logotypes and assets, with plans to lean into red, white, and blue elements in alignment with Philadelphia’s July 4th, 2026 Round of 16 match, which coincides with the nation’s 250th birthday.
The brand has been activated across campaigns, collateral, merchandise, signage, and sponsorship packages – with continued stewardship ensuring consistent, strategic execution.
